Brigid Wilbury

brigid-wilbury

Brigid first started making jewellery in her childhood, but it wasn't until she was living in London, UK in 1995 that she learned some Native American Indian beading techniques using a very fine needle and long thread. She amazed herself, and others, with the incredible collars that seemed to just evolve. They have been described as "large exuberant celebrations rather than just mere jewellery".

Her jewellery range now includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces and a modified version of the original collars for everyday wear as well as special occasions.

Each and every piece Brigid makes is a personal gift from her heart - unique and original, with its own special energy. She uses seed and other beads, semi-precious stones, pearls or shells from our precious Earth.

Brigid has an international reputation. Her pieces are worn and enjoyed by goddesses around the World.

At the present time Brigid is passionately working at her Sunshine Coast Studio in Queensland, Australia.

"It's not work... it's beading..." says Brigid!
