Glass has always intrigued Sally, she has a large beach glass collection that she has been collecting since childhood. Sally has often included glass in one form or another in her mixed media artworks which she has created for the past 10 years. Coupled with a love of beading, glass beads seemed a natural progression for her to which she has taken, like a moth to the flame.
Progression has led to an absolute passion for the art of glass bead making and the industry associated with this timeless discipline. Glass has now taken over as Sally’s main form of artistic expression, often capturing the essence of what she loves to paint within glass – including her bold sculptural tiger lily beads.
Currently managing & teaching in a Queensland glass studio Sally hopes to continue to share her passion whilst exploring the endless possibilities of creating within the medium of glass.
