NOT suitable for fusing or slumping, but absolutely PERFECT FOR ANNEALING your beads (this is, after all, what this particular kiln is designed for!!) Beads can be stacked in the kiln and prepared components can be placed in the kiln on a punty or otherwise and then retrieved to continue working.......

Out side dimensions   500mm wide , 200mm high and 150mm deep.  Door dimension , 70mm high and 500mm wide. Internal 400mm wide and 120mm deep. The element is protected from being contacted by the user by a stainless steel punched panel, which also enables the user to support the ends of the mandrels in the holes.

The kiln is constructed from aluminium sheet for the outside case and insulated using rigged ceramic fibre.  Has twin elements supported on
ceramic rods.   The kiln is controlled by a "Fuzzy  Logic" temperature controller.  The controller is  programmeable, however, comes ready to run set at  an appropriate annealing temperature, the ramp rate is also preset and setable.  The controller is mounted in its own enclosure, to alleviate damage from radiant heat. This also enables easy removal to use as a controller on another kiln if required. The kiln comes with a Residual Current Device fitted for safety.  The kiln operates on 240v ac and will run on a standard household power point of 10amps.  The element manufacturer makes the element to 2400 watts.
